Ranchi: The problems of HEC employees, who are facing financial crunch, are increasing. The situation has become such that due to lack of money, employees have started losing their lives. On Saturday, two HEC employees died due to financial constraints. This information was given by Rajkumar Nair of Hatiya Mazdoor Lok Manch.
He said that Shahdev Lohra, working in 5 shop of FFP, and Nandu Munda, working in HMTP, died on Saturday. Nayak said that he was facing financial crisis due to 19 months of salary arrears. Due to this he was not able to get proper treatment.
Rajkumar Nair told that Shahdev Lohra’s health suddenly deteriorated on Saturday. He was a patient of blood pressure and diabetes. After his health deteriorated on Saturday, his family admitted him to ESI Hospital. From there he was referred to RIMS for better treatment and died during treatment. Nandu Munda was also facing financial crisis due to non-payment of salary. He was also getting proper treatment. He died due to lack of proper treatment.
The problems of HEC employees, who are facing financial crisis, are increasing. On one hand, employees have not received salaries for 19 months. At the same time, the employees are not even getting loan from PF item.
More than 200 employees have applied for PF loan. In this regard, the HEC official said that due to financial constraints, the management is not even depositing the PF of the employees. Presently 2800 personnel are working in HEC. The management has to deposit Rs 158 crore in the PF account. Rs 30 crore has not been deposited in the company’s PF Trust from January 1, 2022 to June 2023. At the same time, Rs 128 crore is already outstanding under PF account.
