Ranchi: Development Commissioner Amit Khare said that there is no scarcity of funds for salary payment in Jharkhand.
Ample payment has been provided to Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Koderma and other districts. State Bank of India will be provided more funds for salary payment, he said.
The Additional Chief Secretary said that different banks of Dhanbad have been provided Rs 180 crore for salary payment.
Allahabad Bank has been provided Rs 22.25 crore, PNB Rs 12.15 crore, Canara Bank Rs Rs 22.25 crore, Bank of India Rs 31.25 crore, SBI Hirapur Rs 20 crore, SBI Chirkunda Rs 10 crore, SBI Sindri Rs 20 crore and SBI Dhanbad Rs 42.25 crore.
Appealing to the people to maintain modesty in getting their salary, he said that the shortage of currency notes has been sorted out and the state government is consistently monitoring the situation.
