Jamshedpur, Dec 12: Growth of Coronavirus cases are on the decline in Jamshedpur. No COVID-19 death has been reported in the East Singhbhum district in the last five days as the death toll remains at 374. On Saturday, East Singhbhum district reported 42 corona positive cases while 24 people recovered of the virus.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17082. The death toll remained at 374 with no death reported in East Singhbhum district on December 12.
24 people recovered of the virus on Saturday taking the total recovery to 16537 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 171.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 155877 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 422881 samples have been collected out of which 414944 have been tested and 397862 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, Coronavirus tally in Jharkhand on Saturday reached 1,11177 as 189 ew cases of Covid-19 were detected while 273 people were discharged from various hospitals across the Jharkhand. The number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,08,488.
