No COVID-19 death in Jamshedpur for second day

Jamshedpur, Nov 5: Coronavirus cases in Jamshedpur reached 16120 with 38 new cases reported on Friday, November 6. The death tally remains at 356 with no deaths reported in East Singhbhum district on Friday.  Jamshedpur registered no COVID-19 deaths for the second consecutive day on Friday, while 38 new positive cases took the tally to 16120, district health official said.

East Singhbhum district reported 38 positive cases while 46 people recovered of the virus on Friday.    

46 people recovered of the virus on Friday taking the total recovery to 14571 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1193. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 118037 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 91% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.

So far in Jamshedpur 327741 samples have been collected out of which 314215 have been tested and 298095 have turned out to be negative. On the other hand, 29,930 samples were tested in Jharkhand. 356 positives were reported. Most of the positive have been found in Ranchi. 91 positive were reported in Ranchi on Friday. 401 people recovered of the virus and were discharged from various Covid hospitals. One person died of the virus in Jharkhand.
