Ranchi: NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant is going to hold a meeting with senior administrative officers of the state shortly. The motive of his Ranchi visit is to review the Digital Cashless Payment and Cashless Jharkhand. He will review Digital Cashless Payment of the state at Project Building.
The interest being shown by the NITI Aayog in the cashless Jharkhand campaign is also due to the vigorous campaigning by Chief Minister Raghubar Das all over the state.
The CM has been appealing to the people including students, farmers and the common people at large to embrace digital payment systems and go cashless in the larger interest of the state. He said the state�s economy would be empowered greatly if all people come forward to go cashless by resorting to digital transactions post demonetization.
State authorities said that the state government is making special endeavour to boost the digital payment campaign started by the Union Government on the clarion call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting is surely going to promote digital payment by giving fillip to the campaign, they said.
All principal Secretaries, secretaries, the DGP of Jharkhand, and senior officers of various banks have been directed to participate in the meeting.
Development Commissioner Amit Khare said that after the meeting, the NITI Aayog CEO will meet the CM to discuss about the Cashless Jharkhand campaign and its success so far before returning to New Delhi in the evening.
