NIT Adityapur water tank cleaned

Jamshedpur, Feb 22: Cleaning of the water tank at NIT Adityapur has begun on a war footing by the drinking water and sanitation department using around 35 workers while engineers from Jindal Industries are also helping in the cleaning exercise.
Significantly, a decomposed body was found inside the water tank on Friday which was taken out by NDRF team on Saturday and was later identified as NIT student Raja Kumar.

The department had started cleaning exercise after fears of spread of infection from the decomposed body due to water being distributed from the water tank was rife among the masses. The department has assured that from Tuesday clean water would be supplied to the masses.
