NIT Jamshedpur wins Hackathon Hackubit at RVS College

Jamshedpur, Oct 8: The 24-hour Hackathon Hackubit, which began on October 7 at RVS College of Engineering and Technology (RVSCET), concluded on Wednesday. The non-stop event saw participation from 50 teams. All teams underwent multiple rounds of evaluation. Each team consisted two to five participants. In the final round, 10 teams were shortlisted, from which the first, second, third, and other award-winning teams were selected. The first-placed team received a shield along with ₹15,000, the second received ₹10,000, the third ₹5,000, and other positions were awarded cash prizes ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹5,000. The judging panel included Dr. D.A. Khan, Professor of the CSE Department at NIT Jamshedpur, Shraddha Agarwal, Founder and Director of Ezzkitech and Dr. Shamsher Alam, Associate Professor of the Computer Science Department at RVS College of Engineering and Technology. Throughout the event, Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Educational Trust, and Shatrughna Singh, Treasurer, were present. During the closing ceremony, Binda Singh, Shatrughna Singh and the judges presented shields and cash prizes to the winning teams.

The details of the Hackathon Hackubit winners are as follow:

First Place: Team S2 Buckets from NIT Jamshedpur

Second Place: Team Vibe Codes from Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi

Third Place: Team Code Blooded from KIT Haldia

Additionally, Ezzkitech Solutions awarded special prizes of ₹5,000 and ₹3,000 to two teams: Team A3N from Central University of Jharkhand secured the first special prize, and a team from RVS Academy received the second special prize. Shipra Singh, Global Head of the college, presented the event report. The program was hosted by students Rishi Raj and Afifa Tohid, with technical support provided by Prem Priyanshu and Architesh. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sushant Mohanty, Head of the Electronics and Communication Department and Professor Deepak Tiwari of the BCA Department.
