NIPA�s Kathak dance workshop concludes at Telco

Jamshedpur: The weeklong Kathak dance workshop organized by Nrityangan Institute of Performing Arts at Sangeet Samaj auditorium, Telco, came to a conclusion on Sunday.

The chief guest of the programme was Varsha Daga, a renowned city personality and social worker. She lit the ceremonial lamp jointly with the workshop organizer Gauri Diwakar, Sandeep Bose and Soumi Bose.

Soon after the inauguration, the participants of the workshop gave classical dance performances. They presented Saraswati Vandana which was sung by classical singer Pankaj Ghoshal. A total of 70 participants performed on the occasion.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates were given to the participants. Addressing the gathering, Gauri Diwakar said Binsoti Dutta of the institute was a gifted and outstanding performer.

She announced to give scholarship to Binsoti on the occasion.
