Jamshespur: The NIA (National Investigation Agency) conducted raids in Jamshedpur on Monday leading to the apprehension of approximately four individuals connected to terrorist organizations. The NIA team detained these individuals from Jugsalai and Mango areas, placing them in custody at Jamshedpur’s Circuit House. Sources reveal that the NIA team conducted raids in Gauri Shankar Road of Jugsalai and Azadnagar of Mango late last night, resulting in the arrest of these four individuals. It is reported that they are linked to terrorist organizations, and the NIA is interrogating them to gather more information. The detainees are suspected to be involved in facilitating funds for terrorist groups and playing a crucial role in recruiting new members. Despite the operation, the NIA has not officially disclosed details about the investigation.
Meanwhile, five people were detained today as the National Investigative Agency (NIA) raided about 19 locations across four states this morning in connection with the ISIS network case and busted a “highly radicalised jihadi terror group”.
The raids were carried out at 11 locations in Karnataka, four in Jharkhand, three in Maharashtra, and one in Delhi.
Last week, the central anti-terror agency raided over 40 locations in Maharashtra and made 15 arrests. One of the accused who was arrested was a leader of an ISIS module and was administering an oath of allegiance to new recruits.
