Students learned that the factory processes over 3 crore litres of milk daily, showcasing the scale and efficiency of the Amul network.

During the guided tour, students observed the various stages of milk processing, including pasteurization, separation, and homogenization. They also saw the production lines for butter, curd, lassi, milk powder, and ice cream. The visit emphasized the use of advanced technology, automation, and strict quality control measures.
Officials explained how the factory checks for 23 types of adulterants to ensure product purity. Students were also introduced to Amul’s color-coded milk packaging system, which helps consumers identify products based on fat content.
The visit served as a valuable learning experience, offering insights into cooperative economics, entrepreneurship, food safety, and brand management. The school thanked Dhaval Purohit, Plant General Manager and Site Incharge, for his warm hospitality and informative guidance.
