NHES Jamshedpur wins Frank Anthony Debate, Arushi Kar named best speaker

Jamshedpur, July 15: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) students emerged winners in the Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter School Debate Competition held on July 14.

The Zonal level competition saw participation of ICSE Jamshedpur schools.

The NHES team comprising Arushi Kar and Deeplekha Mandal, was declared the winning team (Senior Category) in the Inter School Debate Competition organized by The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

Arushi Kar was adjudged the Best Speaker in the senior category in the competition held at Kerala Public School, Kadma, showcasing exceptional debating skills and eloquence. The team’s victory is a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.

“We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievement,” said Mrs. Paramita Roy Chaudhury, Principal of Narbheram Hansraj English School. “This win is a reflection of their hard work, dedication, and passion for debating. We congratulate them on this outstanding accomplishment and look forward to seeing their continued growth and success.” The Principal also congratulated the teachers who had trained the students.

The competition provided a platform for the students to engage in intellectual discussions, challenge their perspectives, and develop essential skills for future leaders.

The winning team will represent the zone in Stage II (Selection Round) of the Frank Anthony Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition, competing with the qualifiers of the other zones at the regional level.
