Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm on January 26. The programme highlighted the nation’s sovereignty, democratic values, and the spirit of unity among the north, south, east, and west of India.
The event began with a warm welcome to the chief guest, Nakul Kamani, President of the School, along with members of the managing committee, principals of the three schools, the Acting Vice Principal, teachers, and students. The theme of the celebration, “Collaboration – The Way Forward: Our Vision for the Future,” reflected the constitutional spirit of collective responsibility and cooperation.
Nakul Kamani unfurled the national flag, marking the official start of the programme. This was followed by an inspiring address by Chandrakant Zatakia, Treasurer of the School, who spoke about the importance of unity and national values.
Students from the three schools presented a special enactment portraying the patriotism and sacrifices of women freedom fighters, highlighting their role in India’s struggle for independence. The performance emphasised the power of collaboration in achieving true freedom.
A colourful patriotic dance performance followed, featuring classical and folk dance forms from different parts of the country. The presentation beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural heritage and diversity.
The celebration concluded with a pledge to uphold the Constitution, respect diversity, and work together for a progressive and inclusive India. The event left everyone inspired by the strong message of unity and cooperation.
