Jamshedpur, June 10: The results of the JEE Advanced 2024 were released on Sunday, bringing pride to Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) as Arpit Chaudhary emerged as the Kolhan topper with an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 415. Alongside him, Ankesh Kumar Singh from NHES also made a notable achievement, securing an AIR of 4848.
Earlier, in JEE Main 2024 exam, Arpit Choudhary emerged as the top scorer, attaining an outstanding 99.6 percentile.
In another highlight, Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya Telco celebrated the success of its student, Ibtesam Ahmed, who achieved an AIR of 696, making him the second topper in Kolhan. Other commendable performances include Divyanshu with an AIR of 848, Shafqat Jabbar with 911th rank, Kshitij Nayan with 1742nd rank, Krish Verma with 2149th rank, and Aditya Singh from Mango securing 2245th rank.
These outstanding results pave the way for these candidates to participate in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling, which allows admissions into NITs, IIITs, deemed universities, and central universities across the country. The JoSAA-2024 seat matrix will be available on the official web portal starting June 10, with the registration and college choice filling process commencing at 5 PM the same day. The deadline for registration is June 18, and the first round of seat allocation is scheduled for June 20.
Among the top performers, Ibtesam Ahmed stands out with a total score of 246 marks in the JEE Advanced exam, comprising 86 in Physics, 76 in Chemistry, and 84 in Mathematics. Aspiring to pursue a B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing from prestigious IITs like Delhi, Kanpur, or Madras, Ibtesam credits his success to diligent revision of coaching materials alongside school studies. His parents, Dr. Iftekar Ahmed and Dr. Zakia Sitara, both doctors at Tata Motors, are proud of his remarkable achievement.
