Ranchi, Nov 19: NGO “Stambh” on Wednesday distributed “Sports Equipments” to the 3 (Three) numbers of schools, run by REDS (Rag pickers Education & Development Scheme) with the strength of 105 students of non formal schools as well as 107 students of formal schools coming from the background of rag pickers, coal pickers, rickshaw pullers and maidservant in different location of Ranchi.
The distribution of Sports Equipments was started from Bargawn, Power House Cutia and Irgutoli respectively. The sports equipments distributed among these children’s of above mentioned centres were 24 numbers Badminton racket with 24 numbers cork, 12 Ludos, 3 numbers Football. These Sports Equipments will provide them basic facilities of their physical and mental developments.
Altogether 96 numbers of Badminton+Cork, 48 Numbers of Ludo,10 Numbers Football and 2 Sets of Cricket Kit to the Children’s of REDS 12 Centres (Mousibari, Doranda, Tokitoli, Hatia, Chutia, Irgutoli,Hatma, Hindhpiri, Khadgarha, Pahari, Argora, Bargaen) on Tuesday and Wednesday. Total 900 children’s were benefited.
