New Parking Contractor to Take Charge at Tatanagar Station from May 5

Jamshedpur: Tatanagar Railway Station will transition to a new parking management system starting May 5, following the finalization of a short-term tender. The previous parking arrangement officially ceased after 12:00 PM on Sunday to make way for the incoming agency.

Contract Details and Management Shift

  • New Agency: The South Eastern Railway has awarded the contract to Maa Tara Enterprises.

  • Contractor: The tender is allotted in the name of Gaurav Shah, based in Barauni, Bihar.

  • Duration: This short-term agreement remains effective for two months, spanning from May 5 to July 3, 2026.

  • Financial Terms: The firm must deposit approximately ₹35 lakh for the two-month period. Additionally, ₹2.71 lakh was submitted during the initial tender process.

  • Outgoing Agency: Maa Tara Enterprises replaces Gauri Enterprises, which previously managed the station’s parking operations.

Administrative Confirmation

Aditya Chaudhary confirmed the transition, stating that the tender shift occurred after midday Sunday and that all arrangements for the new management period are finalized. This administrative change aims to streamline operations at one of the region’s busiest transit hubs.
