Chaibasa, Sept 11: On Saturday, a meeting was held at Congress Bhawan in Chaibasa under the chairmanship of Youth Congress District President Dinabandhu Boipai on nomination and membership drive of Youth Congress. The office bearers of West Singhbhum District Youth Congress participated in the meeting. Zonal Returning Officer Akash Bhatia gave detailed information about the election process including organizational elections of Jharkhand Pradesh Youth Congress which had started from September 8.
Elections for Jharkhand Pradesh Youth Congress have been announced in which voting is to be held on 4 seats in which nominations are to be made for the posts of State President, State General Secretary, District President and Assembly Speaker. Giving further information, Bhatia said that the process of nomination in this election would be from September 08 to September 16, after which the final membership drive would be launched between September 22 and October 22, 2021.
Former Chief Minister Madhu Koda said that in the forthcoming Jharkhand Pradesh Youth Congress elections, new faces would be provided scopes to join the Youth Congress. “This will bring forward new faces, new hopes and they will be given leadership opportunities to strengthen the Jharkhand Pradesh Youth Congress and take it surging ahead.”
He said Youth Congress elections should be fair and newcomers should get leadership opportunities. Jagannathpur MLA Sonaram Sinku wished all the youth good luck for the Youth Congress elections to strengthen the Congress. Shivkar Boipai, Poorna Chandra Kayam, Sandeep Sunny Devgam, Dinesh Chandra Boipai, Govind Path Pingua, Mohammad Salim, Raj Kumar Rajak, Trishanu Roy, Akash Kendeyang, Pritam Bankira, Praveen Nag, Avinash Koda, Vijay Kumar Das and others were present in the meeting.
