New bunch of aspiring managers to join XLRI, Academic Session to start from June 12

Jamshedpur :The B- School XLRI is all set to welcome the freshers for the Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM), the two flagship programmes for the academic year 2017 on June 12. New students of PGDBM, PGDHRM, GMP, FPM, Exec-FPM & PGDM-Part Time will be welcomed at XLRI.

A total 360 students from BM, HRM and the 15-month General Management Programme (GMP) will participate in the commencement of the academic year. A short programme of introducing the institute and its faculty members will be organised at the Tata Auditorium .

The fresher students from BM, HRM and GMP will take part in a Special Orientation Programme which has been outlined to refresh their knowledge base before commencement of regular classes.

XLRI will announce the commencement of its new academic session at a solemn prayer service event organized at the campus for the new batch in presence of Director, Dean, as well members representing the Faculty, Staff of XLRI and Students with their parents. Readings from the Holy Quran, Bhagavad-Gita and Bible will mark a special spiritual significance to the ceremony.

Welcoming the new batch of aspiring leaders Fr. E. Abraham, S.J. (Director) said, “XLRI is a management school with a difference emphasizing not merely on knowledge dissemination, but gives equal importance to personal, spiritual and social development of students.

Such an integral and value-based formation will help mold the future manager to be an innovative, competent, creative and empathetic leader”. “As a thought leader, XLRI always strives to offer an education regimen which goes beyond a mere degree and aims at grooming students as responsible leaders for the society at large” he quoted.
