New academic session starts in Loyola School Jamshedpur with special assembly

 

Jamshedpur, March 18: The new academic session for senior section at Loyola School began with special assembly on March 18. The assembly, themed around the importance of collaboration and cultural identity, aimed to inspire students as they embarked on their educational journey.

The event commenced with a symbolic lighting of the lamp by Fathers and Vice-Principals, setting the tone for the proceedings. A dance paying homage to Lord Ganesha, representing auspicious beginnings, captivated the audience, followed by a serene Buddhist meditative session promoting inner peace.

Highlighting the school’s rich cultural tapestry, students presented a melodious group song blending Bengali Christian tunes, a beautiful fusion of language and faith followed by the Gurbani recitation.

The assembly also featured a recitation of Swamy Vivekananda’s timeless speech, imparting valuable wisdom to the students.

Integral to the assembly were prayers representing diverse religious beliefs. The Sarna prayer emphasized the importance of connecting with nature for a sustainable future, followed by an Islamic prayer fostering solemnity and devotion. A Vandana dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge and wisdom, further enriched the spiritual experience.

Echoing the sentiment of embracing individuality with courage, a mesmerizing presentation of Tagore’s “Ekla Cholo Re” left a lasting impression on the audience. Father Vinod K.M. Joseph, Rector of Loyola School, inspired students with insightful guidance, encouraging them to pursue their goals with determination.

A new academic session full of new hopes, new aspirations, this assembly was a reflection of the school’s commitment to promoting cultural diversity and nurturing students’ talents.
