Ranchi, Feb 11: Chief Secretary R S Sharma welcoming the French Consulate General Fabrice Etienne introduced the state as culturally �rich and highly diversified�, which had tremendous opportunities in the tourism sector.
He also told the visiting diplomat at his office in the Project Building, about the need for value addition to technological inputs in various industries.
He said that the people of the state were being empowered through agriculture, horticulture and fruit processing, increasing the production of Tassar, silk and skill development.
