Need to promote innovation at panchayat level :CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that there was a need for promoting innovation at panchayat as well as district level.

He was speaking during a workshop on creativity. He said the people should not depend solely on the district and the state headquarters.

Instead they should come forward and take initiative. He said there cannot be any age limit for creativity and that anyone of any age could set an example through their talent.

He said the limited resources were also favourable for creativity. He said the government had allotted Rs 1 crore for each of the three consecutive years to each district in the state. But the funds could not be utilized, he said.
