Need for change in mindset for development in Jharkhand: Raghubar Das

Jamshedpur, August 23: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday said that political parties for the last 14 years have only looted Advasis of the state.

Within 1-2 years the poverty-stricken people of the Jharkhand will see smile on their faces. “We are not involved in politics for the sake of post but want to serve the people and help make Jharkhand progress.

If thinking of the people can change then no one can stop Jharkhand from becoming a develop state”, said Das addressing the gathering during his felicitation organized by New CPN Club (Chhattisgarhi society) at Sonari Ram Mandir Ground.

CM further said that till the people of the state are not literate and are not provided with jobs the state cannot develop. For the same government through Lok Seva Aayog will complete the recruitment process of 1 lakh people by December.

This will help increase the employment and will also eliminate manpower shortage. Raghubar said that government has also announced to make battalion of two Adivasi communities which are on the verge of extinction. Both the battalions will be made in Dumka and Palamu.

Till November 15 the process of recruitment of 45 thousand is still on. Also present on the occasion were MP from Rajnandgaon Abhishek Singh, MLA of Pindriya Motiram Chandravanshi and Padmashri poet Surendra Dubey.

Accepting the invitation of Rajnandgaon MP Abhishek Singh, CM Rgahubar Das expressed desire to see his maternal house in Chhattisgarh which his family members sold in the year 1979.

At the event several cultural event were also organized while Poet Surendra Dubey made the audience enthrall through his poems.

Also present at the event were DC Dr. Amitabh Kaushal, SSP Anoop T Mathew, City SP Chandan Jha, BJP district President Nandjee Prasad and other party leader.
