Jamshedpur: The birth anniversary of Jan Sangh founder Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was celebrated at the Sakchi office of Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday.
District BJP president Dinesh Kumar was the chief guest of the occasion. He paid floral tributes to Mukherjee and remembered him as a great patriot. He said the contributions and sacrifices made by Mukherjee could never be obliterated.
Also present on the occasion, state BJP spokesperson Rajesh Kumar Shukla said nationalism and struggle had led to the rise of BJP. He said the BJP was one of the major political parties in the world known for its commitment to national values.
Among others present on the occasion included Chandrashekhar Mishra, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Khemlal Choudhary, Ramesh Hansda, Neeru Singh, Rakesh Singh, Bhupendra Singh and Sriram Prasad.
