NCC unit of ABM college conducts plantation drive

Jamshedpur, August 20: The NCC unit of the Abdul Bari Memorial College organized a tree plantation drive on Thursday.

Chief Guest C.A. Ansari, Divisional forest officer declared the event open by planting a tree. He addressed the cadets on how to maintain a balance between environment and society.

He also told the cadets to undertake the responsibility of growing & nurturing 10 plants each. He praised the college for conducting such plantation drives for over a decade.

The event saw plantation of around 200 plants in the college campus. Principal Dr.S.B.Tiwary, NCC officer Capt.Dr.B.B.Bhuyan, Dr.A.K.Mahapatra, Prof.C.L.Das, Prof.A.K.Singh, Dr.Bindu Pahan, Dr.Poonam Sahara and Dr.T.Pandey were present at the event. Cadets Shanti Kumari, Sravan Maurya, Rajkumar, Sgt.Anuradha contributed to make the event a success.
