Naxalites torch 4 vehicles engaged in railway line construction in Hazaribagh

Katkamsandi (Hazaribagh): Naxalites created a ruckus in Hazaribagh. Late on Wednesday night, half a dozen Naxalites set fire to 4 vehicles engaged in the construction of the railway line. Also left a threatening letter. The matter is of Shahpur Hesa Kundar village under Katkamsandi police station area of Hazaribagh. Naxalites committed the crime at 3 am on Thursday. The company engaged in construction work suffered a loss worth crores in the incident.
According to the information received regarding the incident, at around 3 am on Thursday, Naxalites set on fire four vehicles engaged in the construction of the railway line in Shahpur Hesa Kundar village. Naxalites set on fire 2 highways, 1 payloader and 1 pickup van. While leaving, the Naxalites also left a leaflet in which they were warned not to carry out construction work without contacting the organization.
It is noteworthy that the vehicles that were victims of Naxalite attack were engaged in the construction work of Kathoutia-Tori Chandwa railway line. Local people believe that militants have carried out such an incident over a levy dispute. Let us tell you that in the recent meeting held in Delhi regarding extremism in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had given many important information to the Home Minister. The Chief Minister had said that Naxalism is under control in Jharkhand and is now limited to only a few areas.
