Jamshedpur, October 14: The Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) has embarked on a prestigious foreign exposure tour to the Netherlands, offering 24 of its talented cadets a chance to compete against Den Bosch Hockey Club. The tour, which commenced on October 14, is a key opportunity for the young athletes to sharpen their skills and gain invaluable international experience.

The tour aims to provide the cadets with cultural exposure, enhanced strength and conditioning (S&C) training in line with European standards, and a deeper understanding of advanced international academy structures. Known for its rich hockey tradition, the Netherlands offers the perfect environment for these players to immerse themselves in high-performance training alongside European athletes and renowned Dutch coaches.

A key aspect of the tour is the focus on European-style S&C programs designed to boost athletic performance, recovery, and injury prevention. The cadets will be introduced to physical training routines that will improve their endurance, agility, and overall fitness, helping them meet international standards.

In addition to training, the cadets and coaches will gain insights into world-class academy setups, interacting with academy directors and coaches to learn about structured player development pathways, coaching methodologies, and sports science integration.

This milestone tour reinforces NTHA’s dedication to producing world-class players and equipping them with the skills needed to excel on the global stage.
