Jamshedpur, Nov. 4: Members of Bhojpuri Nav Chetna Manch on Friday launched a cleanliness drive at Baroda Ghat in Bagbera on the occasion of Chhath festival.
District general secretary of the manch Abhishek Ojha led the drive were Satyam Pandey, Chunnu Singh, Vikas Tiwary, Amit Tiwary and others were present.
The four-day festival began on Friday with Nahay Khay. On Saturday, the second day, “kharna” will be observed.
The main offering to the Sun God called argya, will take place on Sunday offering prayers to the setting sun and again to the rising sun on Monday.
