Natwari Nritya Utsav at The Bengal Club on Nov 10

Jamshedpur, Nov 7: Nrityangan Institute of Performing Arts, an organization dedicated to the Katthak form of classical dance, in association with the city�s cultural edifice The Bengal Club is all geared up to present Natwari Nritya Utsav at the latter�s auditorium on Sunday, November 10 from 5 pm.

Reputed tabla Guru Mihir Banerjee who is a household name in the realm of classical music and Nrityangana Rita Mitra whose Bharatnatyam presentations have mesmerized audiences will be honoured with Guru Samman on the occasion.

Eleven emerging classical dancers from all over the country will participate in the Utsav. Kattha recitals will be presented by Priyanka Saha, Shinjini Bose, Shivanjali Mukherjee, Tarit Sarkar and Anurekha Ghosh, Bharatnatyam by Raja Dutta and Chaiti Ghosh, Odissi by Subikash Mukherjee while Manipuri dance will be performed by Namrata Chatterjee and Pratika Karmakar. Guest artiste Madhumita Roy will present a Katthak recital.
