Jamshedpur to Host National Lok Adalat on March 14

Jamshedpur: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jamshedpur, will host the virtual inauguration of the National Lok Adalat and a State-Level Legal Services-cum-Empowerment Camp on March 14 at Sidhgora Town Hall. Operating under the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, the event bridges the gap between legal recourse and social welfare.

Event Launch and Distinguished Guests

Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, Judge of the Jharkhand High Court and Executive Chairman of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, will virtually inaugurate the programme at 10:30 AM. Other High Court judges and distinguished guests will also attend the ceremony.

The schedule includes:

• A traditional welcome and ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

• The virtual launch of National Lok Adalats across all Jharkhand districts.

• Direct distribution of assets and benefits to local beneficiaries.

Connecting Citizens to Welfare

To maximize the impact, the district administration will feature exhibition stalls from approximately 18 government departments. These stalls will provide citizens with direct access to various welfare schemes, allowing them to learn about and apply for benefits on-site. Officials emphasize that this initiative creates a single platform to strengthen legal access and public empowerment.
