Jamshedpur, Sept 2: As per the direction of National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, a National Lok Adalat will be conducted at the Jamshedpur Civil Court on Saturday, September 11th. September 2021 at the Civil Court, Jamshedpur. As per the directives of Executive Chairman of Jharkhand State legal services Authority (JHLSA), Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh Pre-National Lok Adalat Sittings will be held between September 6 and 10 in the Civil Court, Jamshedpur.
Meetings have also been also organized among Principal District and Sessions Judge, Deputy Commissioner, SSP and other officers to work on details of holding the National Lok Adalat. Nalin Kumar, Principal District and Sessions Judge said that 17,200 case notices have been sent to the parties and directives had been issued for disposal of maximum number of cases. Notices have been also sent through Special Task Force. Many cases are being resolved with the help of Mediators of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA).
Nalin Kumar informed that in the National Lok Adalat, cheque bounce cases will be resolved through special drives. Efforts are being made to resolve the cases by informing the parties of cheque bounce cases through telephone, email and WhatsApp call by the Court and the DLSA.
Other cases related to Excise Act, Forest Act, Labor and Minimum Wages Act, Bank loans, Motor vehicle accident compensations, Land acquisition, family disputes, all types of Civil disputes, compoundable cases of criminal nature, revenue related issues and cases related to traffic are would also be settled in the National Lok Adalat. For this, two helpline numbers 7870 292520 and 83407 14990 have been issued by DLSA.
