Jamshedpur, June 10: Shiva Sardar led NarwaPahar SC to victory over ThakkarBappa Club by 3- 0 in the opening match of the JSA Football League at Gopal Maidan on Tuesday.
Sardar scored two goals in 58th& 68thMin while his team mate Yogesh Tiu opened the account for his in the 53rd min. ThakkarBappa Club didn�t manage to score and Vijay Soy of the Club was given Yellow card in the 49thmin.
Referees for the match were Dinesh Soren, AakashRaut, Madhusudan &Sarkar Soren. The next match of the league will be played on Wednesday were SARNA F.A will take over C.S.TATA MOTORS.
Earlier in the day the tournament was kicked off by the Chief Guest Jamshed Nassiri , Ex International Football Player were Charles Borromeo , Head Sports & Vice President , JSA , Satnam Singh , Sr. Manager Sports , Rajeev Mishra , Secretary , JSA , Bagicha Singh , Recipient of Arjuna Award , Ramesh Mehta , Chairman Jharkhand Football Association & Chairman , JSA Football Committee, Najam Ansari , President JFA, Hassan Imam , Firoz Khan , Arvind Prasad , Satish Singh, Arun Kumar Sinha of Sports department and members of JSA Football Committee were also present.
This is the first time when all the affiliated clubs (34 nos.) participated in the JSA Football League opening ceremony.
