Narbheram Hansraj English School honors ICSE, ISC toppers at Prize Night

Jamshedpur, June 26: Narbheram Hansraj English School held its Annual Prize Night on in the school auditorium to felicitate its accomplished students. The esteemed event was graced by Nishu Kumari, District Superintendent of Education cum Nodal officer (RTE cell), East Singhbhum, Jharkhand, as the Chief Guest. Killol Kamani, a well-known businessman from the city, also attended the event as the Guest of Honour.

The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting and a Shloka recitation. Saplings and gifts were presented to the Chief Guest, Nishu Kumari, and the Guest of Honour, Killol Kamani, as a gesture of appreciation. Nishu Kumari presented awards to the high achievers of the ICSE examination, while Killol Kamani felicitated the top performers of the ISC examination.

In the ICSE examination, Piyush Prasad secured the highest score in the Science stream with an outstanding 99%. Harsh Aryan closely followed with an impressive 98.80%, and Md Huzaifa A Ehsan secured a commendable 98.60%. In the Commerce stream, Krishna Patwari emerged as the top scorer with an excellent 96.80%, closely followed by Aisha Imran with a commendable 93.20%. The ICSE examination had a total of 166 candidates, with 51 students scoring between 90 to 100%, 62 students scoring between 80 to 89%, 38 students scoring between 70 to 79%, 14 students scoring between 60 to 69%, and 1 student scoring between 50 to 59%.

In the ISC examination, Jatin Singh secured the highest score in the Science stream with an impressive 97.50%. Moitrayan Nandy closely followed with a remarkable 96.50% and also cleared the JEE Advance with an AIR of 6500. Sakshi Kumari, the President of the School Council (2022-23), was recognized for qualifying the NEET examination with a Category Rank of 2339. In the Commerce stream, Muskan Kedia topped the class with a remarkable 95%, followed by Neerja Singh with an excellent 94.25%. The ISC examination had a total of 108 candidates, with 34 students scoring between 90 to 100%, 50 students scoring between 80 to 89%, 20 students scoring between 70 to 79%, and 4 students scoring between 60 to 69%.

Narbheram Hansraj English School achieved a 100% pass percentage in both the ICSE and ISC examinations. Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements in academics and extracurricular activities. The school has consistently secured positions among the top ten toppers in the city list. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Acting Vice Principal, Tandrima Banerjee, expressing gratitude to all the attendees for making the Annual Prize Night a resounding success.
