Jamshedpur, July 28: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated World Nature Conservation Day on Friday, July 28, with great enthusiasm and dedication.
During the event, students of NHES undertook several initiatives aimed at creating awareness about the importance of preserving the environment and its invaluable natural resources. A plantation drive was organized, and the students actively participated in planting saplings, emphasizing the significance of greenery in safeguarding the planet.
In another eco-friendly effort, students of NHES crafted cloth bags, which were subsequently distributed to vendors in the Kadma market. This move aimed to reduce the usage of single-use plastic bags and promote environmentally sustainable practices in the community.
Throughout the celebration, the message conveyed by NHES was highly impactful: “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet.” The school’s efforts and activities served as a reminder of the vital role that nature plays in supporting both human livelihoods and the well-being of our planet.
