‘Naman’ to continue to work for women empowerment: Kale

Jamshedpur: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the renowned social organization ‘Naman’ organized a grand event celebrating the strength and achievements of women. Led by its founder Amarpreet Singh Kale, the event saw the participation of hundreds of women associated with the Naman family, reaffirming their commitment to empowerment and equality.

MLA Purnima Das Sahu graced the event as the chief guest, praising Naman’s continuous efforts in uplifting women across all levels of society. She described the organization’s work as a significant step towards gender equality and women’s rights, emphasizing that empowerment should not be limited to legal rights but should also include social and mental awareness.

“This effort of ‘Naman’ towards equality and rights is commendable,” she stated, urging collective efforts to create an inclusive and equitable society.

Several distinguished personalities attended the event, including Naman’s patron and senior social worker Rakeshwar Pandey, senior journalist and chief patron Brijbhushan Singh, former Women’s Commission Chairperson Kalyani Sharan, BJP State Minister Rita Mishra, Advocate Swati Mitra, Advocate Vinita Mishra, storyteller Lata Sinha, teacher Chandan Jaiswal, and former BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar Mahila Morcha Presidents Rajpati Devi and Neeru Singh.

Addressing the gathering, Amarpreet Singh Kale emphasized that Women’s Day should not be just a one-day celebration but a year-long commitment to respect, rights, and empowerment. He assured that ‘Naman’ will continue working tirelessly to support women at every level.

“Empowering women is necessary across all sectors of society. We must give equal opportunities and respect to women at every stage. Such events not only inspire but also drive real change,” added MLA Purnima Das Sahu.

The event also featured honoring the achievements of women, discussions on upcoming initiatives, and the launch of schemes aimed at strengthening women’s roles in society.

At the conclusion of the program, the Naman family collectively took a resolution to remain active in the fight for women’s progress, rights, and empowerment. The attendees also pledged to enthusiastically participate in the 10th Akhand Tiranga Yatra on March 23, reinforcing their commitment to national unity and strength.
