Nag Panchami celebrated at Dharma Saastha Temple

Jamshedpur, Aug 2: On the auspicious occasion of Nag Panchami today, pujas at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple located in Bistupur started with havan for Sri Ganesh. Later, Abhishek was performed for Nag devta with 15 litres of milk. 

After taking sankalp, Kala Sarpa Puja was conducted. Thereafter 76 times Bali was done on wet rice powder mixed with turmeric (haldi). Later on Nava Graha Puja was performed, followed by Maha Arati and the committee members distributed prasad to hundreds of devotees who visited the Temple to witness the pujas. Akash Pandit, Mohit Pandit and Shyam Sundar Pandit performed the rituals. KS Jayaraman, Secretary, AS Visweswaran, Siva Kumar and P Srinivas, joint secretaries were also present on the occasion
