MYM steel city branch’s Surabhi executives take oath of office

Jamshedpur, March 26: The new committee of executives for the period 2021-’22 of Surabhi, the women’s wing of Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) Steel City branch took oath of office on Friday. Surabhi president Manisha Sanghi was unanimously reelected as president of Surabhi for the term 2021-’22. The members who had acquitted themselves in an exemplary manner during the 2020-’21 tenure were specially honoured. The election was conducted during the annual general body meeting held earlier. Kavita Agrawal was made the secretary.

The new committee elucidated the programmes to be undertaken during the tenure. Chief guest and legislator Saryu Roy was full of praise for the Surabhi team. He observed, “The amount of social concern and active work put in by the ladies of Surabhi including their dedication to humanity as reflected in their care for the community during the lockdown period is nothing short of awe inspiring. They are the pride of mankind.”

The other guests present on the occasion were Balram Sultania, Ashok Bhalotia and Nand Kishor Agrawal, The guests were presented Tulsi saplings.

In her welcome address, Manisha Sanghi appreciated the amount of cooperation provided to her by the Surabhi team and she expected the same unstinted support by the new team to discharge social responsibilities.

The MYM Steel City Branch’s Surabhi team which took the oath of office on Friday included Manisha Sanghi (president), Kavita Agrawal (secretary), Muskan Agrawal (treasurer), Usha Chowdhary and Nidhi Agrawal (vice presidents), Pinky Ringasia and Pinky Chhavchharia (assistant secretaries) and programme convener for the period 2021-’22 Chanda Chowdhary.

The executive committee included Shalini Gupta, Suman Jhajharia, Vinita Naredi, Jyoti Agrawal, Sushila Agrawal, Rina Goyal, Rekha Badhan, Saroj Bansal, Sonu Moonka, Pinky Kedia, Rashmi Agrawal, Ranju Agrawal, Reshmi Jhajharia, Rupa Agrawal, Sneha Agrawal, Puja Agrawal and Sona Dokania.

Other luminaries present on the occasion were Santosh Agrawal, Nirmal Kabra, Umesh Shah, Dipak Bhalotia, Mahabir Modi, Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Vijay Anand Moonka, Arun Gupta, Vishnu Goyal, Prashant Agrawal, Pankaj Chhavchharia, Ajay and Chetani.
