Jamshedpur, Oct 13: A musical programme was organized at Tulsi Bhavan, Bistupur, under the aegis of Swar Ganga Parivar, Jamshedpur, to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Pundit Chandrakant Apte on Saturday. It started with the garlanding of a portrait of Guru Apte and lighting of a ceremonial lamp. Sanchali Chatterjee and Sourav Lahiri were conferred with the title of Sur Sadhak and Taal Sadhak respectively. The programme was conducted by Padma Jha and Pankaj Jha. A raasleela was presented on this occasion.
The dignitaries present during the programme included Deenanath Upadhyaya, Dashrath Upadhyaya, Sonam Kumari, Birendra Upadhyaya, Bakshi Vikash, Dr Sanatan Deep and Pundit Arvind Azad.
