Jamshedpur: The mysterious death of Aman Singh, also known as Aman Bhardwaj, has taken a grave turn with the Sonari police station registering a murder FIR based on the statement provided by the deceased’s father, Alok Singh. Aman’s lifeless body was discovered on the roadside in Sonari Domuhani on Tuesday, with noticeable wounds on his face and his bike lying nearby.
Alok Singh revealed to the police that Aman had gone out with two friends on Tuesday morning and was expected to return in the evening. Alok received a call informing him of the tragic incident, leading him to the MGM Hospital where he learned about his son’s demise. Aman had been riding a bike belonging to the son of Azadnagar police station in-charge Inspector Mithlesh Singh, and the bike was discovered at the incident site.
Uncle Rajneesh Singh, the District Vice President of Congress, disclosed that Aman’s friends have gone missing since the incident, adding an element of suspicion to the case. Inspector Mithlesh Singh acknowledged the family relation with Alok Singh but denied any involvement in the incident, citing a friendly relationship between Aman and his son.
The police are actively investigating the matter, examining CCTV footage to gather insights into the events leading up to Aman Bhardwaj’s death. On Wednesday, a medical board conducted the post-mortem in the presence of a magistrate. The body was later brought to Aman’s residence in Kadma Ramnagar and cremated at Bhuiyandih Subarnarekha Burning Ghat after the last rites.
