Multi-Crore Power Line Hub to Bring Zero-Cut Electricity to Urban Centres Adjacent to Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar held a review meeting with Executive Engineers of the Electricity Department at the Jamshedpur Circuit House to work on a blueprint to eliminate chronic power outages and strengthen the rural electrification framework.

During the session, officials agreed to develop an advanced power transmission system tailored to meet the surging future energy demands of Potka, Dumaria, Ghatsila and other adjoining areas.

Multi-Crore Line Hub at Pandrasoli to Benefit Multiple Blocks

A decision was taken during the meeting to establish a state-of-the-art, multi-crore Line Hub at Pandrasoli. This major facility will integrate the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) 400/220 KV line arriving from Chaibasa with the Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (JUSNL) 400/220 KV line arriving from Chandil.

The successful execution of this mega-grid project will permanently resolve issues in:

• Target Areas: Hata, Potka, Dumaria, Musabani, Rajnagar, and Ghatshila.
• Core Fixes: Elimination of low-voltage fluctuations and a permanent end to frequent, unscheduled load shedding.
• Outcome: High-quality, stabilized, and highly reliable grid connectivity for thousands of rural and semi-urban consumers.

Emphasizing his governance goals during the briefing, MLA Sanjeev Sardar reiterated that providing seamless, high-quality, and uninterrupted power to the residents of Potka remains at the apex of his development agenda.

“Robust power infrastructure acts as the backbone for any region’s socio-economic growth. We are working relentlessly toward this objective,” Sardar stated.

The lawmaker expressed confidence that the synchronized rollout of the proposed Pandrasoli Line Hub and the modern transmission grid will soon completely revolutionize the power distribution ecosystem across the entire constituency.
