Jamshedpur, July 27: Mukesh Mittal, President of the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS), has been awarded the first prize in the essay competition organized by the Akhil Bharatvarshiya Marwari Sammelan (ABMS) for which the topic was, ‘Expectations from the new Central Government as an Aware Citizen.’ The result was declared on July 15.

Mittal’s insightful and comprehensive essay stood out among many other entries, earning him the top prize for highlighting the importance of citizen awareness and reforms in society. His essay outlined key expectations from the government and underscored the role of every citizen in the country’s development.

Key Issues Highlighted in Mittal’s Essay:

  1. Economic Reforms and Employment Generation: Mittal emphasized the need for extensive economic reforms to strengthen and make the Indian economy more progressive. He highlighted the importance of supporting small and medium enterprises, promoting startups, and attracting foreign investment. He also stressed the necessity of creating new employment opportunities to address unemployment.
  2. Education and Health: Mittal called for reforms in education and health sectors, asserting that quality education and healthcare were fundamental rights of every citizen. He urged the government to improve the education system, establish schools and colleges in rural areas, and ensure accessible and affordable health services.
  3. Agriculture and Rural Development: Mittal suggested policy changes to improve the condition of farmers, including facilitating fair pricing for their produce, incorporating new agricultural technologies, and developing rural infrastructure.
  4. Cleanliness and Environmental Protection: Mittal advocated for more effective implementation of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reducing plastic usage, developing proper waste management systems, and enforcing strict laws to combat pollution and protect the environment.
  5. Safety of Women and Children: Mittal called for prioritizing the safety of women and children, demanding stricter laws for women’s safety and measures to prevent child labor and child marriage.
  6. Digital India and Technological Progress: Mittal emphasized the need for technological innovation to make India a leader in the digital age. He propagated promoting digital education, ensuring internet access in rural areas, and encouraging startups.
  7. Bangladeshi Infiltration: Mittal urged the government to address the issue of Bangladeshi infiltration by strengthening borders, preventing illegal infiltration, and enhancing national security.
