‘Mrs India’ Priya Das given warm ovation on reaching Jamshedpur

Gamharia, Dec 30:  Priya Das who emerged winner of the title, ‘Mrs India’ at a modeling competition organized in Dwarka, Delhi, received a warm ovation as she arrived on her home turf, Gamharia on Friday.

Priya Das, a resident of Rohtas Colony, Gamharia, was given the title in the ‘Fit and Fables’ category of the contest. Several other contestants from across India had appeared in the modeling competition that was organized by Prime Communication. “I was very happy when I was selected among the Top Seven in my event. The panel of judges comprised ‘Mr India Tanmay Das, Pari Somani and Preeti Pooja.”

Priya Das, a mother of two children is the wife of Tata Steel employee, Amar Kumar Das. Priya herself runs a beauty parlor in Gamharia. She stated, “I have my eyes set on the film industry to pursue my career.”
