MP’s efforts ensures enhancement of 128 Tata College seats

Chaibasa, Dec 4: Singhbhum parliamentarian Geeta Koda’s intervention resulted in the long awaited enhancement of 128 additional seats in the arts stream at Tata College. Student leaders presented sweets to the College Principal SC Das and felicitated him for the achievement. Principal SC Das attributed the realization of the long standing demand for seat enhancement in the college’s arts stream to the persistent efforts of MP Geeta Koda and the cooperation of the student leaders.  It may be mentioned that on October 12, Geeta Koda had asked JAC secretary to take cognizance on the issue of seat enhancement at Tata College. This had a positive effect and JAC issued a letter dated December 1 notifying of the enhancement of 128 additional seats in the Arts stream of the college.
