Jamshedpur: The MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato today met Union Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi and raised three major demands related to Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency.
The demands include approval for the revised estimate of Rs 4 crore approximately prepared for the construction of road from Chakulia to Matihani. The work on this road was left in the lurch after the agency Supreme Infrastructure Limited reportedly left the work midway, the MP told Gadkari.
The MP also demanded that the road from Narsinghgarh to Pakudiyasole via Ghaghra should be constructed under the CRFF fund of the Central government. An estimate in this regard has been sent to the Central government by the state government earlier, he said.
Mahato further said that the detailed project report of NH 6 and NH33 should be widened as soon as possible.
