Jamshedpur: MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato today met the district superintendent of education, Jamshedpur, to demand disbursement of delayed salaries of para-teachers.
He said the para teachers had met the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar two days back and demanded measures for immediate release of the payment arrears.
The DSE told the MP that there were sufficient funds to release the salaries of para teachers.
The MP said the total arrear of para teachers was around Rs 6 crore.
The funds had been made available to all blocks in the district.
