MP lauds JNAC for getting ISO 14001

Jamshedpur: The MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato congratulated the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee officials on Tuesday for getting the ISO 14001 certification. He said the JNAC officials had done a commendable job by spreading public awareness on the hazards of plastic. He said the JNAC had made the city clean and green through its numerous campaigns.

Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer, JNAC, said the JNAC had worked on many innovative ideas to protect the environment under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar. He said getting the ISO 14001 certification was a matter of pride for the JNAC and the city residents.
