Jamshedpur: The MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato today handed a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to Sabita Mardy, wife of late Bhim Charan Mardy, the CRPF jawan killed in Srinagar recently.
The MP visited the residence of the martyred CRPF jawan at Parsudih. The CRPF jawan was killed while on duty at Srinagar.
When his body was brought to Parsudih, the MP had announced to help his family out of his salary. Many local villagers were present on the occasion.
The MP said the jawan had done a great service to the nation and hence his family needed every possible help in its hour of need.
