Jamshedpur: The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) introduced air-conditioned Volvo luxury bus services from Jamshedpur to Patna on Tuesday. Pathibhara Parivahan will operate the buses between the two cities.
The At the government bus stand in Jamshedpur, MP Vidhut Varan Mahato flagged off the bus. Present on the occasion were State BJYM working committee member Kamlesh Sahu, Shatrughan Giri and other prominent people of the city.
“Rs 1.62 crore 49-seater Volvo buses are equipped with luxurious features including bio toilets, which till date have been used in airlines, facility of food and water, LED televisions, and USB chargers.
We have decided to run two luxury Volvo buses”, said Vivek Vishal of Pathibhara Parivahan. The online booking started from November 20 and fare of Rs 1,000 per head is more than double of the normal category bus. But the passengers travelling will get food packets and water as complementary.
