Jamshedpur, May 11: A bike caught fire suddenly near the Hathi Ghoda temple in Sakchi, causing the driver, Md Maqsood, to run for his life. Unfortunately, the bike was completely destroyed in the incident.
Maqsood immediately reported the incident to the police. According to Maqsood, he was riding his bike towards Adityapur when he noticed a spark coming from the engine followed by smoke. He abandoned the bike on the side of the road and fled.
By the time he could do anything, the bike had caught fire and was destroyed. The cause of the fire remains unknown. The police are investigating the matter.
