Jamshedpur, Oct. 12: Movement of trains in the Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway ( SER) will be affected tomorrow ( Saturday) following a rail corridor block for maintenance and signalling work.
Railway officials today said that the maintenance work would be undertaken between Chakradharpur and Jharsuguda section for over six hours from 5.40 am to 12 noon.
The Chakradharpur division on Friday notified short-termination and cancellation of several trains. The 58161 Hatia- Jharsuguda Passenger will remain cancelled tomorrow. Other trains which will remain cancelled on October 13 included 58162 Jharsuguda-Hatia Passenger, 68030/68029 Jharsuguda-Rourkela-Jharsuguda MEMU Passenger and 68027/68028 Rourkela-Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU Passenger.
The 12872 Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Superfast Express leaving Titlagarh tomorrow ( October 13) will hort terminate at Jharsuguda and will run as 12871 Howrah- TitlagarhIspat Express from Jharsuguda at its schedule time tomorrow.
The 12871 Howrah-TitlagarhIspat Superfast Express leaving Howrah tomorrow ( October 13) will be short terminated at Chakradharpur and will run back as 12872 Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express from Chakradharpur at its schedule departure time on October 13.
Tatanagar railway station’s director H K Balmuchu said that they have a notification in this regard from the divisional headquarter at Chakradharpur. ” We have started informing about the disruption of train services tomorrow over the public address system for the convenience of passengers, ” he said.
