Jamshedpur, Sept 9: Moushumi Bhattacharya is well known as a regular blood donor but she has also set an example by donating platelets on several occasions. Single donor platelets or SDP is vitally important as they are used for coronavirus treatment processes. Moushumi�s inspiration is her husband Mihir Bhattacharya. She is an active member of social organization Team Sangharsh Pariwar. The team conveyed an information to Moushumi that a Purulia patient was in need of platelets and she spontaneously responded by donating under SDP. The Team Sangharsh Pariwar members acknowledging her vital contributions presented her with a state of the art face mask and sanitizer and certificate as tokens of appreciation.
