Motor burnt again, water supply disrupted in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, October 8: .The motor installed in the filter plant of Bagbera Housing Colony Water Supply Scheme burnt six times in two months, the latest on October 7 night.

Due to this, water supply is stopped in 1140 houses of the colony.

This situation arose due to lack of coordination between the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department and public representatives.

Although the work on the new filter plant has started at a cost of Rs 1.86 crore, it will take time. In this regard, social worker Subodh Jha said that he has talked to the Executive Engineer of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department and he has assured to arrange a new motor soon.
